The Blue Dress

Friday, May 10, 2013

I don't recall pain, or joy, only the blue dress
I wore, and the door open to the sea,
and the liquid sun across the floor beside the bed.

Excerpt from The Blue Dress, by Freya Manfred

No reason. I just liked it.

Wishing you a lovely weekend, filled with liquid sun.

  1. Fellow poetry lover, I bequeath you this:

The third and the sixth kill me.

  2. This is so pretty! I love poetry.. though I think it's kind of lame to admit that one of my favourite poems is from a movie.. it's here: (I was going to paste the poem but didn't want to take over your comment section too much lol) xx

  3. Poetry & clothes in one piece - how perfect.

  4. Very serene. Transports me to those precious holiday moments x
